Privacy Policy

What this website collects, what it does not, which third parties are involved when you load it, and how we handle information you send us or share with us during an engagement.

Effective September 3, 2026. This policy describes what Vantalect, LLC ("Vantalect," "we," "us") collects through this website, vantalect.com, and how we handle information you share with us by email, by phone, or in the course of an engagement. It is written to be read, not skimmed past. If anything here is unclear, email info@vantalect.com.

What this website collects

Nothing you type. The site has no accounts, no sign-in, no forms, no comment fields, and no chat widget. The only way to send us information from this site is to email or call us using the links on it, and what you send is then handled as described under "Information you send us."

Cookieless analytics, no advertising trackers. The site loads a small analytics script from Pulse, an analytics service operated by Renkara Media Group, Inc., the company of Vantalect's founder. Pulse records page views, the referring site, and coarse browser and device information, and counts visitors with a hash that rotates daily, so it cannot recognize you from one day to the next. It sets no cookies. We use it only to see which pages are read. We do not use advertising networks, pixels, or fingerprinting, and the site does not sell, rent, or share personal information with anyone for their own marketing.

Standard server logs. The site is static files served from Amazon Web Services (Amazon S3 behind Amazon CloudFront). Like any web server, that infrastructure records the requests it serves: the IP address, the requested page, the date and time, the referring page if any, and the browser's user-agent string. We use these logs only to keep the site running and to diagnose problems, and they are retained for a limited period under AWS's standard log handling. We do not join them to any other data or use them to identify individual visitors.

Third parties involved when you load the site

When your browser loads a page here, it also fetches resources from two third parties, each of which receives your IP address and browser details as part of serving the request:

  • Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com), which serves the typefaces. Google's privacy policy governs that request.
  • Tailwind CSS CDN (cdn.tailwindcss.com), which serves the stylesheet engine the site uses.
  • Pulse (t.renkara.com), the cookieless analytics service described above.

Neither is given any information about you beyond what your browser sends when it requests a file. We have not embedded anything else: no video players, no social buttons, no maps.

Information you send us

If you email or call us, we keep what you send (your name, contact details, and the content of the message) for as long as it is useful to respond to you and to keep a record of our correspondence. We use it only to reply, to scope and deliver work you ask about, and to keep in touch about that work. We do not add you to a marketing list, and we do not share your message with anyone outside Vantalect except as needed to deliver the work you asked for or as required by law.

Information handled during an engagement

Our engagements happen inside a client's own systems: the client's repositories, accounts, model subscriptions, and, for the Fulcrum instrument, a server in the client's environment. As a result:

  • We do not take client code, data, or records out of the client's environment. Work product is written into the client's repositories and stays there.
  • The leverage record a client builds with Fulcrum is the client's. Fulcrum is installed in the client's environment under license; nothing it records is transmitted to Vantalect or to Renkara Media Group, Inc., the maker of Fulcrum.
  • What we keep is the commercial record of the engagement (the statement of work, invoices, correspondence) and the measurement result (the baseline and the closing number), which we may cite in aggregate or with the client's name removed unless the client agrees otherwise in writing. The statement of work and any non-disclosure agreement govern anything more specific.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing info@vantalect.com. We will respond within thirty days. Deleting correspondence may mean we cannot continue an engagement or respond to a request, and we may retain records we are required to keep for tax, accounting, or legal reasons. Residents of jurisdictions with specific privacy laws have whatever additional rights those laws grant; we honor them on request.

Children

This site is for businesses and is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date. We do not change it retroactively.
